Hoisting and load handling
Uneven lifting, lowering problems or unusual hoist noise call for assessment of the relevant drive, brake, gearbox, rope or chain, drum, sheaves and hook assembly. The repair scope depends on the findings and crane design.

DLD SERVIS · CRANES AND CRANE RUNWAYS
Intermittent hoisting, jerky travel or a fault that keeps returning: the first task is to identify the cause and define the repair. DLD Servis provides service, repairs and modernisation for overhead cranes and their runways. We consider the mechanical equipment, drives, power supply and controls together with how the crane is used.

Uneven lifting, lowering problems or unusual hoist noise call for assessment of the relevant drive, brake, gearbox, rope or chain, drum, sheaves and hook assembly. The repair scope depends on the findings and crane design.
Jerky starts, bridge skewing, vibration or repeated wheel wear. We work on wheel assemblies, bearings and shafts while considering drives, brakes and runway geometry. Replacing a worn part may not remove the underlying cause.
Power interruptions during travel, damaged cables or festoon problems. Service enquiries may involve conductor systems, collectors, cable trolleys, guide profiles and switching components. The scope depends on the circuit and condition.
Unresponsive buttons, radio control faults or unreliable limit switches. Assessment must distinguish a controller fault from a circuit fault and include the related protective functions. Control modifications are planned for the particular crane.
Loose connections, structural damage, corrosion or impacts during travel. We assess the work and surveying required. Structural alterations may need a further engineering assessment; coating does not replace repair of damage.
Individual repairs and planned shutdown work, based on equipment condition, records and inspection findings. We agree on parts, work, follow-up checks and handover; upgrades also require an agreed functional scope.
A crane stopping unexpectedly may have a power supply, control or drive fault. Uneven travel may involve the wheel assembly or the runway. We ask which movement is affected, whether it happens with or without a load, and what has changed on the equipment. Site assessment helps distinguish damaged components from related defects. Documentation and parts availability must be checked for the specific make and model; one solution cannot be promised for every crane.
02 / DLD SERVIS
Send the crane identification, symptoms, photographs and site location.
We check condition, access and surveying needs, then identify parts and work.
We agree on the shutdown, access equipment and safe working conditions.
We carry out the agreed work. Checks, tests and documentation depend on the intervention.
Send the information you have. We can clarify missing details in the initial discussion.
Photographs help with an initial assessment but may not reveal all damage. We agree on a firm scope and price after clarifying the details or visiting the site.
Yes, subject to the scope, parts availability and site conditions. We need to know the access arrangements and the available shutdown window.
Yes. DLD Servis provides runway surveying and repairs, including rail replacement. We assess the need for measurement from the symptoms and equipment condition.
We are based in Považská Bystrica, Slovakia, and undertake work for industrial sites in Slovakia and other European countries. Location and timing are agreed for each enquiry.
Attach photographs, a drawing or inspection findings to your enquiry. We will contact you to clarify the next steps.
